Lauren Rosario Palmiter
Lauren, a distinguished Cornell University graduate, leverages her rich academic background and practical experience to excel as a non-profit and fundraising consultant. She graduated magna cum laude with a double major in American Studies and Psychology, alongside minors in Inequality Studies, Law & Society, and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. With an honors thesis investigating bias in jury selection, she marked her place in the top 10% of her class.
In her time at Cornell, Lauren expanded her understanding of community needs and societal structures through her active involvement with prestigious organizations including Psi Chi, Phi Alpha Delta, Golden Key Honors Society, and Meinig Scholars. Passionate about community service and social impact, Lauren has demonstrated her fundraising prowess by aiding organizations such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospitals, the United Neighborhood Center in Scranton, and initiatives within Tompkins County, NY.
Her in-depth knowledge of law and administration, cultivated through key roles with the Lackawanna County, PA Judge and the Mayor of Scranton, PA, has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of legal and governance issues. Having drafted legislation on a range of matters, she brings a unique blend of legal acumen and strategic planning to her consulting work.
